New Publication: “Violence Against Women in an Interdisciplinary Perspective”

We are delighted to announce the release of a new book edited by Aneta Ostaszewska: “Violence Against Women in an Interdisciplinary Perspective”, available in open access on the University of Warsaw Press website (avaliable in Polish).

The publication addresses the urgent need to break the silence around violence against women. It demonstrates that such violence is not a collection of isolated cases, but a consequence of systemic failures and entrenched patriarchal structures.

Thanks to the interdisciplinary collaboration of the authors, reviewers, and the editorial team at WUW, this book is not only an important voice in academic discourse but also a freely accessible resource for reflection and action on this pressing social issue.
