Support group for LGBTQ+ students at the University of Warsaw

29 08 2025
Starting in October 2025, the Psychological Support Centre (CPP) will launch a new support group for LGBTQ+ students. It will be a safe space for conversation and sharing experiences, designed for UW students who want to better understand their situation, receive support, and talk about challenges related to gender identity or sexual orientation, relationships, and minority stress.
The group is particularly recommended for those who feel lonely, seek acceptance, are considering coming out, are undergoing transition, or are struggling with difficult emotions in family or social relationships.
Meetings will take place from October 2025 to June 2026, on Mondays, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the UW Psychological Support Centre (7 Pasteura St., entrance from Banacha St.), room 103.
Registration is by email with the group facilitator, Dr. Anna Mach-Żebrowska (am.mach@uw.edu.pl), after an initial consultation at the CPP Registration Point (Monday–Thursday, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.). Before joining the group, individual consultations with the facilitator are planned. The group is limited to 10 participants.
We warmly invite all UW students who wish to find a space for understanding, support, and open conversation.
