The InterHEd Project – on equality and an inclusive academic environment
09 09 2026
We invite you to explore the materials developed as part of the InterHEd project, which focuses on intersectionality in higher education.
InterHEd is a project implemented between 2023 and 2026 under the Erasmus+ programme. Its goal is to foster a more inclusive academic environment by integrating an intersectional perspective into education. This approach helps reveal how various factors—such as gender, socioeconomic status, background, and disability—interact to shape the experiences of students and staff within the university.
The project has produced a toolkit, examples of teaching practices, and recommendations for addressing inequalities in higher education. The materials cover topics such as course design, assessment methods, and the accessibility of the learning environment.
