University of Warsaw Inclusive Gender Equality Plan 2026–2030 adopted

On July 29, 2026, the Rector of the University of Warsaw issued an ordinance introducing the “Inclusive Gender Equality Plan for the University of Warsaw 2026 – 2030 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy”.” The document outlines the university’s activities for the coming years in building a safe, open, and inclusive working, learning, and studying environment.

The new plan is a continuation of the activities conducted at the University of Warsaw since 2020, implemented with the first Gender Equality Plan. It was developed based on a diagnosis of the experiences and needs of the academic community and takes into account national and european standards on equality, diversity, and anti-discrimination.

The document outlines goals and actions aimed at strengthening an organizational culture based on mutual respect, equal treatment, and accessibility. Its implementation will support the development of the University of Warsaw as a welcoming and open place for all individuals within the academic community.
